We won First Place at Old Settlers in the float section. The residents had fun riding the float and eating a picnic lunch.
The 4th of July celebration was a success. Considering the weather was not fantastic for an outside event the fireworks managed to be completed prior to the rain (downpour) might be a better term. We sold a few dozen cookies at our Cookie sale. We had 17 bikes enter the “Fun Run”. 2 motorcyle riders received a trophy and a $50 gift certificate from the Exline Store. The categories were Best of Show Old Bike and Best of Show New Bike were the categories. Next year we plan to add “Peoples Choice”.
Our “Favorite Recipe” books are done and we have been selling them like crazy. Come in and get your cookbook today – $12.00 each.
See you at the Wayne County Fair – we will be drawing for prizes and our cookbooks will be for sale.
